Our Reggio inspired program is looking for a passion led Educator with strong communication skills, and ability to work well in a team atmosphere.

Our facility also participates in the BC Wage Enhancement and all registered ECE Educators will have access to the $6 per hour wage enhancement if eligible.

**Duties**:

- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for children in accordance with the program curriculum
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Provide care and supervision to children during daily routines and activities
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment

Qualifications:

- Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Early Childhood Education Assistant (ECEA) certification
- criminal record check
- valid first aid
- valid BC drivers license
- Experience working with children in a classroom or childcare setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices including the ELF, IELF, Code of Ethics and Licensing Regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $23.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
