- Full Time**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for Monthly, Quarterly and YE accounting close process
- Manage accounting team on a day-to-day basis
- Ensure proper internal controls are in place; improve controls as needed
- Certify month end accounts are accurate and reconciled
- Reporting and analysis of financial results
- Annual budgeting
- Interface with external audit team and manage Quarterly and Annual audit process
- Maintain and organize accounting records ensuring compliance
- Focus on continuous improvement of accounting processes and system automation
- Ability to work with employees in offices across North America
- Ability to coach and mentor the team and make positive changes to accounting processes through inter-departmental collaboration
- Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree (MBA and/or CPA preferred) in accounting or related
- 5+ years of experience in accounting
- Prior experience in a senior level accounting position for a publicly traded company preferred
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS
- Experience with design and implementation of robust internal controls
- Proficient in MS Office with advanced skills in Excel
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP, Management Reporter, and ConnectWise a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong skill in preparing presentations and materials
- Ability to navigate large amounts of data and working knowledge of ERP systems
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
- Ability to handle sensitive information in a highly confidential manner
- Positive team attitude a must
- Must be eligible to work for any employer in either the U.S. or Canada without the need for sponsorship now or in the future
