**Job Description**:
As a counter service assistant with the Food Service department, this student role offers friendly, efficient service while preparing food as ordered by the customer. They are required to ensure accuracy in the preparation of the requested menu items while following required food safety processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepares food item, dependent on station, to the proper recipe specifications based on customer request, while following all food safety processes;- Provides friendly, customer focused service;- May be required to cover cashier and food production for coworker service breaks;- Ensure station is appropriately stocked with items required for service. Notifies manager or supervisor should items be running low;- Clean and sanitizing high touch locations, including fridges, tables, counters, food service machines and serving utensils. Sweep, dust, and mop when required;- Other Duties as Assigned.

Required Qualifications:
- Must have high school education or equivalent;- Must be an active Algonquin College student;- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 20 kg;- Less than one (1) year of customer service experience.

Anticipated weekly schedule:
Monday - Thursday 2:30 pm
- 7:30 pm Friday 2:30 pm - 6:30 pm
