We are hiring a Junior Business Analyst specializing in Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Planning to work with one of our clients, an international investment bank based in Montreal.

**Mission**

This position involves contributing to the development, research, analytical solutions, and reporting required to support the business continuity and IT disaster recovery program. The Service Continuity Management (SCM) Analyst collaborates closely with various teams, management tiers, disciplines, technologies, and business units to ensure effective disaster recovery planning. Such planning aims to guarantee the continuity of infrastructure supporting business operations even in the face of disruptions such as severe weather events, fires, technology outages, transportation disruptions, or any other scenarios necessitating the activation of the firm's disaster recovery protocols.

**Responsibilities**
- Supporting in the formulation and organization of recovery exercises and test plans, encompassing seating adjustments and split operation testing.
- Extending assistance to the Business Continuity Management and Infrastructure teams.
- Assisting personnel during emergencies and ensuring the execution of response strategies.
- Working closely with management on matters related to Disaster Recovery.
- Sustaining communication with external entities and conducting annual evaluations of recovery manuals.
- Meeting auditing prerequisites and being accessible 24/7 as IT Resiliency Personnel.

**Profile**
- SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: _
- At least 1-3 years of experience in either Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery planning and coordination or Information Technology with an understanding of Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery planning in the Financial or Banking sector.
- Demonstrate proficiency in both independent work and collaborative teamwork.
- Possess outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capable of effectively managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Exhibit strong project management capabilities.
- Display excellent time-management skills.
- Showcase a results-driven approach, with proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc., as well as Outlook.

**Education**
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university (Preferably in the field of Information Technology)
- A plus: CBCP certification from DRII or an equivalent organization

Pay: $75,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
