**HOST/HOSTESS**
- Greet guests as they enter the restaurant with a friendly smile and in a courteous manner
- Manage the seating chart and waitlist guests accordingly
- Seat all guests at their tables, provide the bar menu and show the QR code for the food menu
- Answering the guests initial questions, and provide them with water and let them know that their server will be with them shortly
- Handle complaints according to complaint resolution guidelines and follow chain of communication
- Answering phone calls and submitting all phone take out orders
- Taking reservations for large parties
- Handing all takeout and online orders (Uber, Skip the Dishes, DoorDash, etc.)
- Taking payments
- Thorough knowledge of the menu
- Comfortable standing for long periods and managing a very busy shift
- Ensuring the front area of the restaurant is kept neat and tidy - wipe down front doors, vacuum mats and make sure host stand is clean and clutter free at all times
- Thank every guest for dining at the restaurant
- Help clean tables as required
- You may be required to perform and/or help out with other duties within the restaurant

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $15.65 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Host/Hostess 1 year (required)
- Restaurant Experience 1 to 2 years (preferred)

Work Location: One location
