**What success looks like in this role**:

- The HR Country Manager / HR Business Partner / Generalist for Canada will be responsible for managing and executing HR strategies, programs, and policies that align with the company's overall business objectives. This role requires a proactive and hands-on approach to support the Canadian operations, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. _

HR Strategy and Planning:

- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Partner with senior management to understand the business needs and translate them into HR plans and solutions.

Employee Relations:

- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR-related issues.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues and conduct thorough and objective investigations when necessary.
- Promote a positive work environment and enhance employee engagement.

Performance Management:

- Implement and manage performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
- Provide coaching and support to managers on performance-related issues and employee development.

Compliance and Reporting:

- Ensure compliance with Canadian labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR reports.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure HR practices and documentation are compliant with legal requirements.

HR Administration:

- Manage day-to-day HR operations, including employee records, HRIS, and benefits administration.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.

**You will be successful in this role if you have**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or business partner role.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian labor laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in French is a strong preference.
