Golden Heart Integrated Health Inc. is a modern and busy multidisciplinary clinic that provides effective treatment for patients in the most caring way. Due to increasing patient demand, we are looking for a talented, committed **medical office assistant (MOA)/clinic coordinator** to join our team.

Our clinic is located on Kingsway and Victoria. Bus stop is in front and Sky train is nearby.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Communicate effectively and clearly with patients, practitioners/therapists, business contacts, insurance representatives, and other health and legal professionals
- Checking in patients & making sure patients’ files and intake forms are complete
- Attention and detail to scheduling of patients & practitioners
- Remind and confirm patients of their appointments
- Working with JaneApp (prior experience with this software considered an asset); handling all booking appointments (including online booking requests)
- Confirming coverage for insured patients
- **Processing online claims**:

- Collect payments from patients
- Keeping and maintaining patient files
- Scanning patients records and maintenance of electronic patient files
- Assist the clinic director with administrative tasks
- Deal with ICBC extension requests and notifying practitioners/therapists of remaining sessions on a regular basis
- Deal and collect outstanding ICBC payments; contact lawyers and GPs when necessary
- Book-keeping and/or pay-roll knowledge is an asset
- Successfully plan and organize events
- Manage social media, marketing and clinic website
- Possible involvement in developing new system for better efficiency and organization of the clinic

**Who we're looking for**
- Familiarity and interest in health care, including Physiotherapy, Registered Massage Therapy, Acupuncture - **Must have previous work experience in a multidisciplinary integrated health setting (preferably 1-2 years experience)**:

- Friendly, motivated & reliable team player
- Excellent command of the English language; written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt to unstable situations
- Experience with JaneApp is an asset
