We are hiring a Finance Manager, Corporate Accounting & Reporting. This role will be a Hybrid role and the teammate will be expected to travel as needed for meetings in our Oakville or Grimsby offices 1-2 times a week.
As a key member of the Corporate Controller’s department, the Manager will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight for the Corporate Accounting & Reporting team. The Manager will be responsible for Andrew Peller Limited’s Consolidated public Company statements, overall month end close process and internal management reporting. This role is responsible for the quarterly public disclosures and preparation of materials for Audit Committee meetings.

Job Duties
- Responsible for the overall month end close process while maintaining high standards and ensuring accurate, timely and reliable reporting of monthly, quarterly and annual financial results and disclosures
- Provide on-going leadership and direction for the Corporate Accounting team of two including professional development, coaching, and daily oversight of activities
- Responsiblefor investor relations including MD&A, Press Releases, AIF and Management Circular
- Responsible for all Corporate accounting including consolidation of all legal entities
- Responsible for IFRS technical accounting issues
- Ensure internal control practices surrounding the financial reporting and close process are defined, implemented, and executed
- Manage annual budget and forecast process for Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
- Manage interim and annual audit requirements with external auditors
- Resource for accounting, internal control issues and implementation of improvements
- Resource for ERP updates, including development of requirements, and prioritization and testing of enhancements
- Special projects as required

**This role has two direct reports**: Senior Financial Analyst; Capital Asset Accountant

Experience Required
- Hold a CPA, CA designation
- Experience preparing external financial statements and disclosures
- Public company experience preferred
- Experience with consolidations
- Proven leadership skills in achieving results
- Ability to work with a positive attitude and in a professional manner
- Enjoy working in a fast paced, changing environment
- Possess a strong attention to detail
- Possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Experience in manufacturing preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
