Caneda Transport is seeking a 5-Ton Company Driver to join our team in Calgary, Alberta

The 5-Ton Company Driver is responsible for operating a 5-Ton Commercial Motor Vehicle transporting freight. The position will be primarily highway driving, a linehaul run picking up in Edmonton and delivering in Calgary. The Company Driver must understand that the Company operates in a changing environment, and that he or she must be responsive to change. As a result, new directives maybe added or deleted from the list of responsibilities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate 5-ton company truck to transport freight safely and efficiently
- Responsible for the proper loading and securing of freight to prevent movement and allow for safe transportation of materials
- Customer Service
- Completing necessary paperwork
- Operate forklift and work in warehouse when required
- Monitoring and maintaining correct box temperature

**Qualifications**:

- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Air brakes (Q) endorsement required
- Experience strapping and securing loads
- Commercial driving experience required
- Minimum 3 years’ experience preferred
- Values and prioritizes safety
- Successfully complete Caneda pre-screen requirements
