**Reporting to the Meat Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following**:

- Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach
- Engage and interact with guests to create a positive shopping experience
- in person, on the telephone
- Properly prepare products to Co-op standards, package and label finished products, maintain production records
- Ensure to keep a clean and maintained department
- Maintain and display all types of meat products according to department standards
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Who you are**:
You are looking for a career in Customer Service and:

- You have your grade 12 or equivalent experience; retail meat clerk experience especially in the Co-op Retailing System would be considered an asset
- You are honest and trustworthy, are results orientated, and are proud of the work that you do
- You are well organized, capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision
- You are familiar with Food Safe procedures and practices
- Ability to lift and load products; extensive physical labour is required
- You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
- You have the ability to work in a fast paced, guest facing environment
- You have a flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
