**Co-op Student - Commerce, Business Admin, Economics, Data Analytics - Fall 2024**

Hours of work: Full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) Flexible Work Role: Hybrid

Annual salary: 1,792.24 - $2,257.45 biweekly

**What you'll do**-
- Students invited to interview will receive more detail of the specific position during the interview.
- We are looking for team-oriented Co-op students who demonstrates strong research, analytical, stakeholder engagement- supporting various analytical research projects and initiatives.
- Key responsibilities:
- Activities may include: conducting business analysis; initiating and engaging with stakeholders; gathering, preparing and

presenting data for review; drafting reports and findings; record management support; project tracking; and supporting
- project teams, as needed.
- The student will learn about the utility industry and be given the opportunity to develop skillsets in the following areas:

- process improvement, data analysis and stakeholder engagement presenting and facilitating information and findings,
- project management, developing analytical/strategic thinking, and problem solving.

**What you bring**

post-secondary institution in Canada.
- Strong research, analytical, project management, report writing and presentation skills.
- Experience and interest in business analysis projects, as well as analyzing and presenting data and findings to project

team members.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Visio, Powerpoint).
- Strong organizational, time management, interpersonal and communication (both written and oral) skills and the ability to

work efficiently, independently and in a team environment.
- Having completed accounting courses and having experience with Power Query/Power BI, Tableau or programming

languages such as Python or R would be an asset.
** What we offer**
- As a condition of employment at BC Hydro, a background check clearance will be required.
- All positions will be hired first as a four month work term. For some positions, there is opportunity to extend, to eight

months.
- Students are expected to work at the job location for their co-op role and it is the student’s responsibility to relocate

themselves if necessary.
