**Key Responsibilities Include**:
**Pre-Certification**
- Liaise with national colleagues on a regular basis with respect to practical experience reporting to identify issues, recommend changes, and ensure consistency, as well as provide peer reviews
- Support the approval of public accounting eligibility assessments and assess ongoing compliance

**Regulatory**
- Manage regulatory compliance of members in the areas of admission, regulatory obligations, and use of the designation
- Monitor and review compliance reports generated from the Member Management System for data management and member regulatory compliance
- Advise and direct inquiries from members on the continuing professional development (CPD) requirements
- Review eligibility of members for an exemption from CPD requirements and recommendation to the Registration Committee
- Assist Registrar with other registration matters and support the Registration CommitteePreparation of agenda packages for and coordination of Registration Committee

**Advisory**
- Liaise with national colleagues on a regular basis to identify issues and develop tools and resources for members
- Canadian CPA Designation is required
- At least 4 years of experience in public practice and auditing is required
- High level of professionalism and demonstrated ability to deal with difficult situations and individuals tactfully
- Interest and belief in the value of team players who collectively contribute to success
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, with particular emphasis on the ability to use diplomacy when dealing with fellow members and members of the public
- Strong problem solving, analytical, organizational and time management skills
- Proven ability to explain technical material - verbal and written
- Exceptional leadership qualities to mentor and coach team members and potential reports
- Previous track record of success at effectively prioritizing tasks for multiple projects simultaneously
- Flexibility and adaptability skill to respond to frequent changes in priorities
- Management skills to identify, develop, review, and establish efficiencies
