Bookkeeper

The Mini Office is seeking an experienced bookkeeper with 3+ years experience. The position is 36 hours/week. You have the option to work a 4 day or 5 day work week. It is an onsite position in our office in Shelburne.

**Responsibilities**:

- Match banking transactions and enter journal entries, invoices, expenses and receipts into QBO
- Run and analyze financial reports looking for possible errors or discrepancies
- Be able to extract income and expenses from bank statements while understanding what is business and what is personal
- Summarize expenses and income in Excel for tax clients

**Qualifications**:

- Bookkeeping certificate from a recognized Canadian college or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in full cycle bookkeeping including payroll
- Proficient in Quickbooks Online and Microsoft Office
- Beneficial if also proficient with Quickbooks Desktop
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Detail oriented
- Accurate
- Self-starter
- Excellent problem solver
- Observant

**Salary**: $20.00 per hour
