**Team & Job Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist in quantifying EDC’s insurance liabilities, financial performance, and economic capital for insurance contracts.
- Maintain, monitor, and update actuarial cash flow models, ensuring compliance with EDC’s Model Risk Management policies.
- Collaborate on model validation activities, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose solutions using actuarial, statistical, and data science techniques.

**Screening Criteria**
- Undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science or Mathematics or in a related field.
- Knowledge of actuarial principles and practices.

**Assets**
- Experience in actuarial analysis and risk management
- Knowledge of both official languages (French and English)
- Active pursuit of actuarial designation (ACIA, FCIA)
- Advanced programming skills in data manipulation (SAS Viya, SAS Visual Analytics, SQL, Python)

**Salary**
- Actuarial Analysis 18: Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $92,355 - $123,400

**Location**
- Export Development Canada is a hybrid work environment.
- This role will be performed from EDC’s headquarters in Ottawa.
