For more information, please speak with your recruitment representative when contacted for more information.The Collingwood Area has qualified for the Government of Canada's partial Student Loan forgiveness program for eligible nurses who practice in under-served communities.The Opportunity: Working in both the Surgical day care and the Recovery room, the registered nurse will prepare the surgical patient for their operative procedure, including IV initiation, review of documents, answer patient questions and assist with health teaching and educating family members. Post operative care in Phase I and II recovery, including monitoring patients, documentation and education on post op recovery and discharge plans and medication review.Qualifications: Current Certificate of Registration as a Registered with the College of Nurses of OntarioMinimum of two year of recent critical care nursing experience required Current BCLS certification requiredCurrent ACLS certification requiredPACU Certificate required or willingness to obtainExcellent nursing assessment, communication, critical thinking, organization, documentation and problem solving skillsStrong conflict resolution skills when dealing with staff, physicians, patients and family members.Ability to multi
