Responsible to the Aeronautical Services Manager, the Aeronautical Information Analyst is accountable for the development, implementation, and coordination of internal processes for aeronautical data and services and its on-going administration and support.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve production processes relating to Installed EFB (B787/777) databases, as required, and coordinate with Air Canada Maintenance to ensure that Electronic Flight Bag software parts are loaded onto aircraft in a timely manner.
- Develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve aeronautical data and services specifications and control processes.
- Establish, implement, maintain, and continuously improve aeronautical information monitoring processes to encompass State AIP, airport construction, airspace change notifications, and tailored content in the Air Canada Route Manual including 10-10, 10-7, Escape charts, plotting charts,
- ACTAB, and generic pilot charts.
- Compile and manage the Air Canada AIP library (AIRAC/AMDT/SUP) from countries across Air Canada's network and inform Aircraft Performance, Flight Standards, Flight Technical, and Fleet.
- Review, distribute and administrate any information related to the State AIP and related source documents that relies on important changes coming ahead that will affect our operation.
- Administer EFB integrated flight planning system user roles and definitions, configuration files and content delivery.
- Administer aeronautical data distribution platform user roles and definitions, distribution groups, configuration data and content delivery.
- Manage, compile, and order the Airport Onboard Library (TACA14) for the OBL team.
- Process RNP AR and VGA forms and keep track of them in support of the Flight Technical PBCNS Process Manual.
- In conjunction with the Aeronautical Services Manager and the EFB Program Manager, perform quality control to confirm technical content accuracy on chart publications and AIRAC cycle updates.
- Liaise with aeronautical charting and digital solutions vendor on support ticketing. Act as issue champion through to resolution.
- Liaise with Flight Dispatch and Flight Support on flight planning/Flight Dispatch system and ARINC 633 data mapping and accuracy.
- Monitor scheduling reports and relevant changes, ensuring that all scheduled, Maintenance, charter and Cargo operations have the necessary data to support the flight.
- Assist in administration of Company NOTAMs and Crew Alerts to Flight Support on aeronautical charting and tailored data.
- Provide cross-functional coverage to FMS Navigation Database Specialist.
- Provide cross-functional coverage to EFB Program Manager.
- Represent Air Canada in a leadership capacity at industry forums and workshops.
- Liaise with major airlines on Charting, FMS and EGPWS related topics and issues.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor of Science, Applied Sciences, or Engineering with emphasis on aerospace is desirable. Post-graduate level or equivalent studies in Engineering, Applied Science or Business Development highly desirable
- Licence(s), attestation(s), certification(s), association(s) required
- Project Management Certificate (PMP or equivalent) highly desirable
- Six Sigma green/black belt training desirable
- Ability to communicate in both written and oral English at an advanced level. Bilingual preferred
- Ability to use MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project as well as Outlook efficiently. Experience/Business Knowledge
- Has held previous Flight Operations or IT positions within Air Canada and/or other Part 705 Canadian Air Operator
- Possess knowledge of Air Canada Flight Operations Standard Operating Procedures
- Has a least 2 years of management experience with a Part 705 Canadian Air Operator in Flight Operations, Flight Dispatch or IT
- Must demonstrate significant achievements in specific technical areas andéor issues; proven superior interpersonal skills, writing skills and leadership capabilities
