- In this role, you will:_
- Provide Victoria In-Service Support Contract (VISSC) Program scheduling support by:

- Working closely with Project Managers (PMs) to establish and maintain program and project schedules on bi-weekly cadence.
- Developing and maintaining suitable metrics such as: slip/waterfall charts and s-curves.
- Preparing short, medium, and long-term scenario plans and provide analysis and interpretation of results.
- Monitoring schedule adherence during the project lifecycle and assisting with recovery plan development to protect the critical path.
- Gathering data and providing updates to project schedules and developing reliable, informed schedule forecasts.
- Assisting the Project Scheduler, Sustainment PMO Manager and PMs to convey project data and information to all members of the project team in a timely manner that will support the decision-making process.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of Projects Controls measures and metrics to demonstrate schedule adherence and continual performance improvement.
- Maintaining project / program baselines in Primavera P6.
- Capturing actuals in Primavera P6 based on financial data.
- A bachelor's degree, college diploma or certificate in Administration or Business management and related work experience (2 years).
- Demonstrable experience in Primavera P6 scheduling software.
- Advanced MS Project user skills.
- Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- The ability to understand and adhere to procedures and policies.
- The ability to work with precision and accuracy, demonstrating attention-to-detail and have excellent record keeping skills.
- The ability to identify and implement innovative administrative solutions to increase efficiencies.
- Good judgment and a high level of confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to function in a self-directed manner in a team environment, including personal workload management (organizing and prioritizing) with a focus on meeting deadlines in a high-paced environment.
- Experience in gathering, maintaining, reporting and analyzing schedule data.
- Project Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) certification (an asset).
- Experience working with the Department of National Defence (DND) and/or Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) (an asset).
- Proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, meaning that you must have received the full series of a COVID-19 vaccine approved by the Government of Canada with the final dose at least 14 days prior to your start date as well as any COVID boosters recommended by public health authorities
