Shop Assistant /Delivery Driver

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and customer-centric **Shop Assistant/Delivery Driver** to join our team.

Job Responsibilities
- Unload material and equipment received from suppliers according to company standards.
- Pick
- up materials from the supplier and deliver to the field staff as required.
- Prepare materials and equipment for order and have ready for departure to site.
- Make sure workers and technicians have the tools necessary to complete their assigned tasks.
- Pack and load materials and equipment onto trucks according to company standards.
- Stock raw materials returned from site in appropriate locations.
- Clean, grease and oil tools that come back from site.
- Change oil on generators and clean up site.
- Send out any equipment for major repair and follow-up as required.
- Clean, organize and maintain an orderly shop.
- Operate equipment such as band saw, cut off saw, belt sander, drill press, disc grinder, punch press when required.
- Creates a positive work environment where all staff are motivated to do their best.
- Performs work in a safe manner and created an environment for others to do the same.
- Respect for company property and clients at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Valid DZ & G Driver’s License
- Minimum 7 years of experience driving
- Clean driving record
- Working from Heights Training
- Elevating Work Platforms Training
- WHMIS Training
- Fire Extinguisher
- Reliable, self motivated, and goal driven
- Strong team player with an ability to work independently
- Strong customer service skills with a safety mindset
- Ability to learn, apply, and adapt quickly
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- A positive ‘can-do’ attitude
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
