**The Opportunity**:
The Manager is responsible for the monthly GL account reconciliations, financial reporting compliance, Board key performance information (KPI) reporting, financial statement audit coordination, oversight of the capital accounting function, implementation of new and existing accounting policies. Tangible Capital Assets (TCA) report review including the use of appropriate accounting treatment for asset acquisitions and disposals as well as proper classification, presentation and disclosure of the organizations TCA’s will be a function of this position.

**Hours of Work**:
Monday to Friday; 75 hours bi-weekly

**Your Qualifications**:

- Undergraduate degree in business administration / commerce
- Holds the Chartered Professional Accountant designation (CPA), required.
- Minimum seven (7) years’ experience in financial reporting / administration role preferred.
- Minimum three (3) years’ leadership experience, or comparable experience required.
- Strong technical knowledge of auditing processes and requirements, including CICA’s respective GAAP and GAAS standards, as well as Public Sector Accounting Standards
- Knowledge of public sector capital infrastructure processes, legislation, etc.
- Strong time management and multi-tasking skills; work well under pressure
- Experience in engaging, mentoring, and empowering teams and stakeholders in a collaborative, participative manner to respond to the mission, vision, goals, and objectives an organization and optimize team effectiveness
- Experience in front-end systems and all processes that feed into the accounting system
- Ability to develop and establish financial policies and procedures
