**Position Summary**

**Responsibilities**:Reporting to the Senior Manager, Ag, responsibilities for this position include the following:
2. **Talent Management & Team Leadership**: The Hwy 16 Ag site manager is responsible for the agro team at the Hwy 16 Agro Site. Leads their team within the parameters of the CBA (if applicable) and Saskatoon Co-op polices and guidelines. Practices full cycle talent management - talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management including communicating clear performance expectations, coaching and mentoring, development planning, and driving employee engagement and implementing strategies to promote a positive employee work experience. Ensures proper training is provided using the appropriate resources.

3. **Financial Management**: Leads and develops store level budget. Works with Team Leader (Senior Manager, Agro) to review financial reporting and provides variance explanations within the timelines provided, and implements adjustments to obtain profitability. Oversees all site level audits, including regular inventory counts, schedules and recording of markdowns. Tracks and monitors sales and targets.

4. **Marketing**: In support of the division’s marketing plan, provides input into the division’s marketing plan, executes store level and local marketing plan as directed by Team Leaders (Senior Manager, Ag), ensuring point of sale and in-store signage and promotions are aligned with programs and organizational/divisional marketing campaigns, and effectively displayed. Inform all team members of the campaign and required behaviors to align with the desired outcomes. Communicates brand differentiators and ensures they are understood, applied and observed through in-store interactions. Prepare and submit Team Book orders, and execute throughout the year.

5. **Analytics**: Track and compile relevant site level data to measure targets and analyze results, such as sales and employee sales hours, CASM execution, shrink, inventory, margin, productivity, specific product performance. Utilize analytics tools and other tracking methods.

6. **Safety & Compliance**: Ensures compliance with Saskatoon Coop’s Safety Policies. Reports workplace accidents and near misses as required. Aids in investigations in asset protection or other related matters. Implements corrective action to prevent future safety events. Ensures a safe environment for employees and customers

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12 education required. Degree or Diploma in Agriculture or Agribusiness with a CCA or P.AG Designation is preferred.
- 5+ years in the agriculture sector or relevant area, with proven sales and leadership skills.
- Valid Class 5 drivers’ license. Site Dispenser License Required.

You may be required to undergo a background and substance test in accordance with Saskatoon Co-op policies.
