**SUMMARY**:
This is an afternoon position (3:30 - 11:30)

Facilitates replenishment of materials in production. Verifies inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies and adjust errors. Store, moves, and packs outgoing materials, equipment, and other items from production to staging areas in the warehouse.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Prepare customized labels for production orders as per Bills of Lading.
- Configure Labels to include WHMIS, GHS hazard classification &Pictograms.
- Packaging of Oleoresin and Essential Oils in pails and drums.
- Affixing Kosher symbols to labels where required.
- Ensure all labels include gross, tare, and net weights and lot numbers.
- Include Customer codes and Allergen information where required.
- Best Before, Manufacturing, and/or expiry dates when required on labels.
- Wrap skids and label orders.
- Prepare two photocopies of each label and transfer shipping information of each product as well as quantity per item to the Original Bills of Lading, then forward it to the Logistics Department.
- Pick orders and place them in boxes, orders for UPS and FEDEX (up to 20 Kilograms per package) and transport daily to the dock.
- Record packaging log and cleaning work area daily.
- Make Carton boxes to fit various pails, weekly.
- Scan and put away stock items.
- Understand and execute all necessary requirements for ISO 9001.
- Remain accountable for all defined responsibilities as defined by ISO 9001 process flows.
- Responsible for inventory control within production.
- Proper use of equipment, including but not limited to the following: sit-down forklift, order picker, reach truck, transfer carts and pallet jacks.

**COMPETENCY**:

- Ability to frequently communicate with co-workers of varying expertise in a professional demeanor and exchange information accurately.
- Ability to perform fundamental math skills (e.g., addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division), and the ability to do conversions (lbs. to kgs and lbs. to gals).
- Demonstrate ability to read documents written in Standard English text (e.g., administrative policy manuals, manufacturing instructions, etc.).
- Communicate effectively in writing as well as verbally to multiple functional areas.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3-5 years of material handling in food manufacturing facilities experience or relative industry.
- Minimum 3-5 years of ERP, Batch Management Software experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years of forklift experience.
- Understanding and compliance with emergency and safety procedures and practices.
- Knowledge of GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Knowledge of HAACP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points).
- Knowledge of Batch Metrics and/or Oracle EBS a plus.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**:
Job will generally be performed in the manufacturing plant. When on the plant floor it is representative of a large, busy manufacturing operation. Noisy, active, objects on the floor, constant movement, and traffic flow of motorized equipment. Hair net, beard net, assigned work uniform, protective eye wear and gloves are among the GMP required apparel that must be worn, if indicated, on the plant floor.

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**:
Ability to wear PPE, including but not limited to respirators. Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs. Must be able to operate forklifts and other equipment to the job functions. Must be able to see and distinguish differences between labels.
