**Summary**

Join a dynamic group of health care professionals providing a full spectrum of primary health care in a community health centre located in downtown Ottawa. Work with a multi-disciplinary team of doctors, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, registered dietitians, diabetes educators, chiropodists, social workers and other health care professionals. Our medical clinic offers excellent nursing and administrative support, well equipped exam rooms, a collaborative and supportive work environment, an electronic health record, and the opportunity to teach medical students and family medicine residents.

**Requirements**:

- Medical degree and family medicine residency.
- CCFP Certification from the Canadian College of Family Practice or equivalent general practice experience.
- License to practice from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
- Minimum of two years experience in family practice or primary care experience with community health centre populations.
- Knowledge of and commitment to community-based health care.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with marginalized populations.
- Skills in working with seniors and people with complex medical issues.
- Skills in working with people with mental health and addictions issues.
- Ability to work effectively, independently and in an inter-disciplinary team.
- Ability to work evenings and weekend on-call.

**Desirable**
- CHC experience
- Ability to communicate in French a definite asset.
