**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Round on patients daily and provide orders and advice to nursing staff
- Consult with the attending cardiologist, sub-specialists, and other physicians
- Provide direct patient care to patients with cardiovascular conditions
- Manage and coordinate care plans for patients
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives

**Requirements**:

- MD degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Internal Medicine (optional)
- Current licensure to practice medicine in Ontario or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care
