**How You'll Perform The Role**
The incumbent oversees all maintenance-related activities, from planning maintenance tasks throughout the work order-based process, including managing the preventive maintenance system. He plans, organizes and coordinates preventive and corrective maintenance with his team for the maintenance sector.
- Ensures compliance with the budget of his sector as well as inventory control.
- Directs and controls the human resources assigned to him, also applies the collective agreement in addition to managing the presence at work and the health and safety of employees working in his sectors.
- It ensures compliance with the HACCP program for its various sectors of activity.
- Plan daily work and implement an effective time management system.
- ensure that the work is carried out in an adequate manner and within the prescribed deadlines.
- Ensure that the work is done safely (LOTO, permit, work plan etc.)
- Develop, maintain and administer the Interal preventive maintenance system, including purchasing and receiving parts orders
- Manage subcontractors used by the maintenance department.

**What We Need From You**
Required qualities
- Bachelor's degree required in facilities management, engineering, operations management or related field, or college diploma relevant work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a maintenance environment, preferably in a planning role
- Minimum experience of 5 years in supervision in a unionized environment
- Mandatory bilingualism (French and English)
- Experience with general troubleshooting and preventive maintenance programs, Interal an asset.
