Purpose of the Role:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Specialist - SAP Master Data to join our Red Chris Mine team, based in Northwest British Columbia, with a competitive base salary between $109,650 - $129,000, dependant on experience, skills, and qualifications.

The SAP Master Data Specialist is responsible for the management, quality, maintenance, and continuous improvement of a highly functioning, best in class Work Management System, that improves the efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance program.

We are seeking an individual for a remote opportunity working Monday through Friday with occasional travel to the Vancouver office or Red Chris site as necessary.

- Ensure all NewSafe initiatives are supported and actioned in a timely manner
- Master Data Improvement & Maintenance_
- Develop and maintain continuous auditing and review tools for the state of SAP master data
- Daily and Monthly reporting of current master data status
- Recommendations and business case development for Master Data Improvement initiatives, programs, and projects.
- Timely completion of any business-driven Work Management System base data improvement initiatives
- Close out reports & outcome monitoring of completed projects to demonstrate benefits to the business
- Assist maintenance and operations personal in master data best practice
- Actively look for and identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency and cost effectiveness
- Provide Master Data support to ad hoc requests
- Encourage, coach and drive Master Data hygiene & Improvement at Newcrest
- Actively develop and improve existing Task List’s to increase master data quality and streamline the planning process
- Development and improvement of Maintenance Plan’s when required
- Continuously monitor maintenance and operation strategies and suggest improvements where identified
- Action Activity Report (AR) Notifications as assigned for the upkeep and improvement of Newcrest’s CMMS Master Data
