We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Food Servers for an exciting live music festival taking place in Markham. As a Food Server, you will play a vital role in creating a positive dining experience for festival attendees. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring excellent customer service throughout the event.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet event attendees with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work station
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Handle cash transactions and operate a point-of-sale system
- Collaborate with the kitchen and other staff members to ensure smooth and timely service
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with event setup and cleanup as required

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a food server or in a similar customer service role is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional customer service skills with a positive and friendly attitude
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 4 days

**Salary**: $18.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Markham, ON L6B 1A8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
