Job Description:
: The Disaster Recovery Program coordinator will assist the DR program manager with the development, implementation and maintenance of a Disaster Recovery Program to include disaster recovery planning, testing and ongoing process improvement. The individual will support all activities necessary to enable the organization and its subsidiaries to respond to a technology interruption and will support the lines of business in developing a disaster recovery related contingency planning while unifying technical resources in the event of service disruptions or operational risks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Disaster Recovery program manager in revising our DR program
- Assist the DR program manager with developing standards and guidelines to support the program.
- Assist the DR program manager with communicating with all the IT teams on expectations on DR recovery
- Work in a small and dynamic Engineering team
- Setup the DR data repository using Parasolutions tool
- Closely track tests performed, test results, and summarize test activities
- Have fun

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

ACADEMIC TRAINING- Currently in s University program in Computer Science or Business- WORK EXPERIENCE- Previous experience working in IT is an asset-
- Project work with small teamsSPECIFIC COMPETENCIES- Strong aptitude for technology with a positive and inquisitive attitude-
- Must demonstrate a strong attention to detail-
- Must be quality and customer focused-
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team-
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and yet generate specific outcomes-
- Project management tools such as SMARTSHEET or MSPROJECT-
- Experience using Google suite of tools (Docs, Drive, Sheets)-
- Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written, and listening). Ability to communicate in English (both oral and written) is essential.-
- Demonstrated ability to work independently - including the ability to balance conflicting priorities, while still delivering on time.-
- General understanding of broadband, telecom, cable and internet industries is an asset.- You’ll benefit from:
