The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. **Position summary**
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and health care research center. Based in Montreal, Quebec, the institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC), affiliated with McGill University’s Faculty of Medicine.

The Chronic Viral Illness Service is part of the MUHC. The CVIS team has an active research program, conducting numerous observational studies and clinical trials each year to provide innovative research to their patients.

Under the immediate supervision of one of the clinical researchers, the incumbent will be involved in study conduct of cohort studies aiming to improve primary care and reduce the consequences of viral diseases in marginalized populations.

**General Duties**
- Recruiting, consenting, and interviewing study participants in person or by videoconference (Zoom, Teams), or phone
- Assisting with administrative tasks, meetings, and organizing knowledge transfer activities
- Drafting and reviewing study documents
- Other job-related tasks as assigned by supervisor

Education: Bachelor's Degree
Field of Study: Science, healthcare or other related field

**Required Skills**:

- Bilingual French and English (native proficiency in French and professional proficiency in English)
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Willingness to travel regularly to Val d’Or, Gatineau, and Châteauguay
- Strong skills using digital tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good judgment and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to acquire new skills and adapt to new situations
- Professional disposition, possess a high degree of efficiency and self-motivation, and have strong work-ethics and respect for confidentiality
- ASSETS
- Driver’s license and own car
- Experience in clinical research
- Graphic design
- Higher level diploma.

**Additional information**

**Status**: Temporary, full time
**Pay Scale**: $34,125.00 to $51,178.40. Commensurate with education and experience
**Work Shift**: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
**Work Site**: 5252 de Maisonneuve
