At Erin Mills Pet Hospital, RVTs are appreciated for their contributions to our multi-doctor team, and our techs utilize all Veterinary Technician skills they learn in school. We provide mentorship through our senior technicians who have 15+ years of experience, and one of our part-time DVMs is a professor for a local RVT program

- Full time role: 40-hour work week
- $20-$23/hr + based on experience (plus a monthly production bonus)

**What you’ll do**:

- Prep all surgical procedures before the surgeon scrubs in, monitors and support with post-recovery
- All dental cleaning/scaling
- All treatments and diagnostics managed by the tech team
- Our technician team also has the opportunity to work as Exam Room Assistants, leading the appointments and educating clients about the significance of the gold-standard diagnostics and treatments we provide.
- You will be provided designated Technician Assistants to help you with restraints, diagnostics, treatments, surgery flow and more
- 30-minute assisted technician appointments
- 2+ years of experience working in a veterinary setting.
- RVT designation is an asset
- 1+ years of experience as a technician
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- A passion for learning and collaboration

**Salary**: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- veterinary technician: 1 year (preferred)
- veterinary industry: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- RVT License (preferred)
