- The Advisor will be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of training programs for front of house and kitchen staff. The Advisor will work closely with the Operations Director, Chef and Operations Manager to identify training needs and develop customized training solutions to improve service, sales and overall team performance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the development and delivery of training programs for front of house and kitchen staff.
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations, Chef and Manager of Operational Services on training needs and develop customized training solutions.
- Ensure all training materials and resources are current and relevant to the needs of the business.
- Support training for new restaurant openings
- Conduct regular evaluations of training programs to measure their effectiveness and make improvements as needed.
- Keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously improve training programs.
- Assist in the integration and orientation of new recruits as required.
- Manage the training department's budget and resources.

**Requirements**:

- 5 to 7 years minimum experience in training and development in the restaurant industry, with at least 3 years’ experience in a leadership or management role
- Good knowledge of front of house and kitchen operations in a table service restaurant.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Flexibility to travel regularly to all 30 franchise locations.
- Experience in adult learning techniques and instructional design principles.
- Proficiency in e-learning technologies and platforms, such as webinars, video conferencing and online courses
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to adapt the training style to the different learning styles and personalities of the trainees.
- Customer service orientation and ability to build trusting relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Bilingual English / French

**Education**:

- A bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field is preferred, but not required.
