Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.
Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled Info Security Specialist to join our client.
Contract Dates: 12 months with potential to extend or convert
Pay Range: $89.54 to $102.01 per hour
Business Hours: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for auditing existing systems, while directing the administration of security policies, activities, and standards.
- Take full responsibility for minimizing disaster threat effects and for recovery.
- Raise awareness of all levels of the organization regarding security practices.
- Aligns the security policy with policies and plans of the organization.
- Constantly review procedures for security failings and disaster recovery.
- Take leading role in originating/maintaining security policies and strategies.
- Take leading part to ensure compliance with security plans/standards.
- Manage risk analysis, disaster recovery, planning and event simulation.
Experience & Qualification Requirements:
- Information security specialist experience
- Experience working with educational and engagement materials
- Audit experience
- Experience working with multiple lines of business
- Data analytics experience
- Incident analysis and reporting experience
Personal Attributes:
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
