Fort McMurray, Canada Quality Hotel & Conference Center Full time

**Objective**:
The Dishwasher is responsible for supporting the kitchen and outlets by ensuring the dishware, glassware, silverware, pots and pans are washed in a timely and efficient manner.

**Responsibilities and Essential Duties**:

- Follows all established and future kitchen Standard Operating Procedures.
- Maintains supply of clean dishes, glassware, silver, etc., for the kitchen, banquets and all outlets in the hotel.
- Operates the dish machine according to standard.
- Places bus pans in cook's line and cleans dirty dishes as needed.
- Keeps cook line well stocked with china/hot plates.
- Always keeps glassware organized, storing dishware in the proper locations.
- Polishes all silver when needed.
- Empties all dirty dishware in the associate cafeteria, washes and returns to the proper location.
- Assists in the breakdown of banquet functions and washes dishes of the functions.
- Maintains a clean kitchen environment by assisting kitchen personnel in following standard cleaning practices.
- Sweeps and mops the entire kitchen floor and dish room.
- Washes all food counters and shelves.
- Washes mats with bleach after each use.
- Assists kitchen personnel with set-up and breakdown of associate cafeteria.
- Monitors trash levels in all cans and removes when needed, including recyclables.
- Monitors dish machine soap, chemical and polish levels and ensures it is operating according to standard. Reports any concerns to Sous Chef/Executive Chef.
- Ensures the set up and take down of associate lunch area.
- Reports all concerns related to Engineering/Maintenance, Health and Safety, Security or Suspicious circumstances (including smells/sights and sound) immediately to the appropriate leader.
- Adheres to all Quality Hotel & Conference Centre standards, including Hygiene and Grooming, Health and Safety, Fire Safety,
- Provides exceptional guest service at all times.
- Ensures customer concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner and follows the “Remarkable Recovery” formula.
- Other projects/duties as assigned.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
