In order to meet our growing training needs, **Worksite Safety Compliance Centre **is expanding our instructor team, specifically for the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) course program. If you are an experienced health and safety instructor who is passionate about JHSCs and their regulatory requirements, this role is for you

This full-time position reports to the Manager, Instructor-Led Training and will deliver training at Worksite’s various GTA locations (Scarborough, North York, Vaughan, Mississauga, etc.) or through a distance learning environment, based on a monthly schedule.

As a Health & Safety Instructor your **key responsibilities** are:

- Delivering engaging and informative JHSC instruction in a classroom setting or a distance learning environment, for general and industry-specific levels
- Evaluating participants through written evaluations
- Organizing, filing and submitting digital and hard copy participant records following training
- Participating in team meetings and instructor development workshops
- Following any provincial guidelines for COVID-19 in the classroom if required
- 3+ years experience delivering training
- Experience and proven knowledge of occupational health & safety and JHSC operations in a variety of sectors
- Background in occupational health & safety or a related field preferred
- Strong interest educating people on the importance and value of health & safety training
- Self-starter who can work independently, while also contributing to a team
- Strong presentation, classroom management and adult-engagement skills
- Valid Ontario’s Driver Licence - occasional travel by car for work
- Able to legally work in Canada
