Currently we are seeking a Manager, Investments tor to join our team at our Head Office Vancouver. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who would like to work with one of BC's most respected and proven residential and mixed-use developers.

Reporting directly to the CFO, the Manager, Investments will be responsible for a broad range of activities including real estate portfolio analysis, debt and equity financing, and analyses and summary of acquisitions and divestitures as well as conducting market research to support Townline’s growth and strategic plan.

**General Duties & Responsibilities of a Manager, Investment Analysis include but are not limited to**:

- Working as a team with Townline Development, Marketing, Construction, and Property Management departments to prepare return calculations and analysis for potential transactions, including creating cash flow models to forecast future performance and valuations and the presentation of financial modelling assumptions and conclusions;
- Summarizing portfolio performance and deliver insight for key stakeholders;
- Performing economic and market research for investment opportunities;
- Conducting thorough due diligence on potential income producing acquisitions, producing investment memorandums and letters of recommendation;
- Planning, organizing, and executing the valuation of Townline’s development and income producing properties with various financing models;
- Analyzing, monitoring and reporting the strategic and financial performance of all Townline’s development and income producing properties to industry performance benchmarks;
- Working with lenders and brokers to arrange debt financing for income producing properties under construction or in operation;
- Coordinating new partnerships on income producing projects, including preparing offering materials, coordinating and reviewing legal documentation, and preparing organizational and tax structures;
- Assisting in driving business process improvements and systems efficiencies-;
- Providing direction and guidance to Analysts within the Finance and Acquisitions team; and
- Planning, executing and managing assigned ad-hoc projects while ensuring project objectives are met.

**Skills & Requirements**:

- Education: Undergraduate degree in real estate, economics, accounting, finance, or other relevant area of study. CPA designation would be considered an asset.
- Experience: 5-8 years of relevant experience, with a background in asset portfolio management, real estate finance or accounting, or corporate finance preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word for the purposes of financial modelling and presentations.
- Strong understanding of real estate valuation and accounting methodology.
- Advanced knowledge of financial reporting, financial analysis, business concepts and performance metrics.
- Ability to research, analyze, underwrite and evaluate real estate investment properties.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with team members from many different departments with competing priorities as well as external parties such as brokers, lenders, partners, and purchasers or vendors.
- Ability to analyze the economics, trends and opportunities of various real estate markets.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
- A willingness to ask questions and a desire to be continually learning.
- A self-starter who can work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Travel may be required.
