**About the Position**:
The Call Taker is a full time and permanent employee and is an integral member of our Customer Service department. This member is the first point of contact to assist, resolve and support in-bound customer inquiries. Our Call Taker will report directly to the Customer Service Manager and will be in-office Monday through Friday from 08:30am to 16:30pm.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Answering inbound calls from customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintaining notes for the client file to record the details of the call pertaining to support provided or questions/ concerns raised and next steps for resolutions.
- Ensuring all customer updates are provided relating to estimated arrival times, estimated pick-up times and tracking/ tracing parcels as needed.
- Reviewing and validating freight information with customer and addressing discrepancies as needed.
- Ensuring a positive customer experience, maintaining a professional and solution focused attitude and escalating as needed to ensure a solution is developed and delivered.
- Processing information and documentation as needed (i.e., supply orders)
- Effectively obtaining and communicating transit status and other relevant information/ updates to support client inquiries and to solve and discrepancies.
- Other relevant duties as required

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- 1+ year minimum Customer Service experience required.
- High School diploma required.
- Experience with MS Office required.
- Call center experience an asset.
- Experience with Courier Complete an asset.
- Any training with customer service an asset.
- Experience in Courier industry is an asset.

- Excellent verbal, written communication skills in English.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, and professionally always.
- Conscientious with strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work under tight time constraints.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
