Production Supervisor

We are looking for a leader on the floor that will bring energy and focus to our production floor. Working closely with the Operations Manager, you will be responsible to hit the daily production objectives and ensure that our production targets are met.
At times you will be involved in hands on work with your team members. You will be expected to learn all the positions on the floor so you can help those who you are responsible for to grow in their capabilities and proficiency.
**Key Duties**:
- Responsible for Safety, Performance, Quality, and Throughput.
- Oversee production process from receipt of customer goods to packing for shipping.
- Supervise and direct employees in their daily tasks to ensure production targets are hit.
- Ensure that company and industry standards for quality and delivery are maintained.
- Maintain safe working environment on production floor.
- Assist in training of new employees, and ongoing evaluation of existing.
- Collaborate with Operations Manager and President to create process improvements on the floor.
- Evaluate new technology or equipment to keep Aegis as the industry leader.
**Qualifications**:
- 2+ years leadership experience in manufacturing environment.
- Can communicate expectations clearly and hold employees accountable to those expectations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead small teams, handle conflict, and build team spirit.
**Requirements**:
- Drivers license.
- Able to work flexible hours depending on production demand.
- Past experience in leadership role.
- Familiar with Windows PC, Microsoft Office, and basic understanding of ERP / MRP systems.
