We are looking for experienced **Dietary Aide **to join our Sidney Care Team Work schedule is every **Sunday to Thursday - 1500-2000.**

**We offer **wage levelling at $23.38**

**Duties**:

- Maintains a safe, clean and organized kitchen and storage area
- Supports the Chef/Cook in the kitchen, so it runs to time with having snacks and meals prepared ready to serve
- Helps direct portions sizes are appropriated and requested taking into consideration likes, dislikes and allergies
- Maintains a log for the fat trap maintenance and emptying
- Ensures a safe, clean and secure environment in the kitchen and dining room for staff, residents and visitors
- Attends Infection Control meetings once every two months

**Qualifications**:

- Grade 10
- Safe food handling level one
- Proof of vaccination

**Skills and Abilities**
- Good written and verbal communication
- Demonstrates good time management
- Flexibility, can work independently
- Physically and mentally able to perform duties for above position
- Shows a caring and considerate attitude to resident, visitors and staff

Sidney Care has been in operation for many years and provides a home like environment to its residents. The facility was recently renovated and is tastefully decorated. Sidney Care works in collaboration with the Vancouver Island Health Authority, to ensure quality care to all of our clients.
