We are currently hiring experienced caregivers in Victoria

Come work with the Just Like Family Home Care team HCWs, Care aids, LPNs and those willing to train on the job with our in house training program as you work

**Caregiving Duties**:
Personal care, lift and transfer experience preferred (required for some clients)

cooking / meal prep

Companionship
Light housekeeping/ laundry
Meal planning and preparation
Transportation to Dr. appointments/ Outings/ picking up prescriptions/ grocery shopping

Helping to do Occupational Therapy exercises

Seeking individuals wanting a long-term career opportunity that have flexibility, are compassionate, caring, with a genuine interest in improving the quality of life of others. We are seeking caregivers that are willing to take initiative, work well independently or as part of a team. Ability to speak and write well in English needed.

Smart phone with data is necessary for schedule and reporting purposes. Criminal record check required and 2 professional references required.

If you are detail orientated, dependable, honest, nurturing and fun loving you are just the right person. Job types available: Full time, part time positions.

We have ongoing relevant educational training modules to help you grow in your knowledge while you work

**Duties**:

- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Administer medication as prescribed by a nurse or healthcare professional.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry.
- Provide companionship and engage in activities with clients to promote socialization and mental stimulation.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and practices.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and assist with mobility tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with clients in a compassionate and respectful manner.
- Basic knowledge of medication administration procedures.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 50 per week
