**The Role**

**_ This role requires you to be based out of GTA (Greater Toronto Area) and offers the opportunity to work from home for some days each week._**

**Skills, knowledge and competencies required to be great at this role**:

- Minimum 3 years demonstrated quality assurance and software test creation and execution experience (manual and automated).
- Bachelors degree in Geosciences, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and advocate for quality.
- Intermediate level skills with client-server frameworks and web technologies.
- Intermediate to advanced skills with the use of multiple Windows platforms.
- Experience creating and executing automated tests utilizing Ranorex an asset.
- Experience utilizing a virtualization framework.
- Ability to develop and execute test plans or strategies within expected timeframes.
- Ability to produce in depth test coverage, prioritizing the tests from a business and usability point of view.
- Ability to effectively analyze, document and communicate testing results including risk and defect analysis.
- Demonstrated commitment to ensuring that new product functionality complies with predefined QA standards.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute as part of a self-sufficient, self-organizing Agile team under the guidance and leadership of the team lead.
- Confident oral and written communication skills in English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop and build sustainable working relationships.
- Balanced and informed approach to problem solving.
- Tenacity, persistence and focus with the ability to prioritize between multiple tasks.
- Continually update skills by learning new technologies relevant to the role.
- Knowledge of Geosoft product line (Oasis montaj, Target, Target for ArcGISPro, GM-SYS, Near Surface products, GX Developer, VOXI, DAP) a strong asset.
- Knowledge of GIS software, in particular ESRI products, an asset.
- Intermediate level skills in JIRA an asset.
