We are looking for a Production Assistant to provide administrative support to the production team for many ongoing projects. If you are organized and like to put your creation skills to good use, then you’ll love this position

YOUR MISSION

Reporting to the VAP Project Manager, the Production Assistant will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks for the production team at the Bécancour site. This is a unique opportunity to make your mark on a small, agile team at a growing company

The position’s specific challenges include the following duties:
Perform maintenance and operations activities

Prepare purchase orders in D365; place and receive orders.
Coordinate the handling of samples that transit between our operating sites.
Update technical drawings.
Implement a preventive maintenance management system in collaboration with the planner.
Keep the work environment clean and safe at all times.

Administrative support

Help set up, develop and monitor KPIs.
Help draft operating procedures.
Provide support to maintain document management in the IsoVision system.
YOUR SKILLS PROFILE
Have taken a vocational or college program in a relevant field of study (administration or secretarial studies).
Experience in an industrial or manufacturing sector.
Sense of initiative, independence and an ability to work with little supervision.
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and other computer tools.
Be familiar with the basics of quality management.
Knowledge of D365 (an important asset).
Knowledge of the IsoVision system (an important asset).
