Experienced Tradesperson/ Carpenter

We are a growing contracting company looking for a highly experienced tradesperson to join our team. Our services offered to clients range from deck builds and new builds to all home renovations. This position has great potential for growth, so we are looking for someone who will be dedicated to the company and who is eager to work. The ideal person must be trustworthy, responsible and very reliable. You must also be familiar with power tools and very knowledgable/skilled in carpentry.

**The Position**: We are looking for an experienced tradesperson with 5+ years experience
- Pay is based on experience
- Hours range from 30-45 hrs per week

**Carpenter Position Requirements**:

- 5+ years experience in carpentry
- Lead hand experience is not required but is an asset
- Knowledge of home renovations
- Knowledge in deck builds
- Must have own vehicle and be willing to travel
- Must have their own basic hand tools (pouch, drill, measuring tape etc)
- Must be able to use power tools
- Be willing to work long hours and have flexible availability
- Must be able to lift heavy objects

**Responsibilities**:

- You will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment and meet the deadlines that have been set out
- You must be able to work alone if needed
- You will be responsible for teaching and managing labourers when necessary
- Interacting with clients is a possibility, and showing professionalism is a must
- You must be trustworthy and relay any job-related issues to the employer

The duties of this job will vary depending on experience and the type of project we are doing. You can expect to build decks/fences, use a variety of tools and complete a variety of home renovations (anywhere from a bathroom remodel to a new addition).
