**Position type**:

- Permanent
- Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm (8.5 hour/day, with a 30 min unpaid break)
- May require some evening and weekend work (shift premium paid for after-hour work)

**Compensation**: $22.50-$24.50 per hour

Through our Employment Readiness Program, and our social enterprises, MP Maintenance & MP Neighbours, we equip our program participants with the skills, confidence, and support they need to rejoin the workforce and rebuild a self-sustaining livelihood for themselves.

**Reports to**: Property Maintenance Coordinator

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Property Maintenance Supervisor to make a difference in the world. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting and overseeing property maintenance services including graffiti removal, pressure washing, landscape, and other property related services, while managing a team of program participants, and ensuring the efficient, safe, and effective completion of client needs. Consequently, your expertise in property needs along with strong leadership abilities, and dedication to delivering exceptional customer service will be key to the success of our team.

**Key Areas of Responsibilities**:
**Property Maintenance**
- **Leadership**: supervise and mentor a team of associates and technicians to perform top notch property maintenance services. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, professionalism, and a strong work ethic among the team
- **Service Delivery**: Assess the job site to determine and communicate the most suitable actions necessary to complete the scope of work safely, efficiently, and on schedule. When necessary, report up about changes required. Assisting the Coordinator and the Ops Admin Team with scheduling of services, ensuring timely response to service requests, efficient deployment of resources, and creating continuous improvement
- **Operations**: Assisting the Coordinator by maintaining accurate records and generate reports as needed, including service statistics, customer feedback, and budget expenditures
- **Inventory**: Monitor and maintain inventory of property maintenance supplies, equipment, and cleaning products, and ensure their availability and proper functioning
- **Quality Control**: Conduct regular inspections to assess the effectiveness of services delivered and report adjustments as needed
- **People Process**:
Assist the Coordinator in managing performance issues such as attendance and conflicts
Conduct quarterly conversations and annual reviews

**Safety**:

- Take time to share with your team methods, techniques, and safe equipment use.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations, ensuring the proper use, storage, and disposal of chemicals and waste materials

**Customer relationships**:

- Provide exceptional customer service, including addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, fostering repeat business and referrals
- Actively identify and elevate opportunities to develop new client relationships for property maintenance services

Other duties as assigned by the Property Maintenance Coordinator
- A passion for empowering people with an empathetic and supportive attitude
- Experience working in social services or a non-profit organization
- Leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record
