**Role Summary**:
The Operations Manager plays a critical role in the organization. They will be responsible for meeting KPIs and ensuring all tasks are executed in accordance with S.O.P.s, safe work practices, and company policies. They will embody Positive's core values when interacting with both internal and external stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for managing Team Leaders and Production Team Members.
- Communication and on-going reinforcement of Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
- Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to Production Team Leaders and Production Team Members.
- Plans overall production needs for best possible utilization of production space, resources, and human capital with the objective of attaining optimum operating efficiencies.
- Monitor and/or control production levels.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance department to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
- Identify best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work processes risks, raise safety awareness and improve safe work practices.
- Accountable to ensure that production area is in ‘audit-ready’ condition.
- To work with the Client Engagement Team to provide necessary solutions to our clients’ requirements for new and existing projects.
- Maintain production records and track key metrics.
- Liaise daily with senior management to ensure company’s objectives are met and to communicate issues/concerns that may arise.
- Promotes safe work practices and is in compliance with Health & Safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures.

**Leadership Responsibilities**:

- Working closely with Human Resources Manager, provide effective leadership and direction to hourly employees (coaching, cross-training, addressing and resolution of employee-related issues and concerns).
- Manage personnel performance, including employee reviews, disciplinary action, time and attendance, overtime assignments, employee training.
- Communicate with Lead Hands on a daily basis to discuss KPIs, employee related issues and concerns, production issues etc.
- Other production leadership duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in operations management or a related field.
- Post secondary education in operations management, or a related field considered an asset.
- Previous leadership experience working in GMP environment considered an asset.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer literacy is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in strategic planning and decision-making.
- Sound understanding of business processes and operational principles.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize efficiency and productivity.
