**Tasks**:

- Conduct biostatistical data analysis using computer modelling techniques
- Supervise biological technologists and technicians and other scientists
- Conduct molecular or biochemical studies and experiments in genetic expression, gene manipulation and recombinant DNA technology to develop new or alternative methods of producing products
- Conduct research into the structure and functioning of human, animal and plant tissues and cells
- Supervise laboratory technical personnel, medical clinical personnel, graduate students, research scientists and other professionals
- Recruit and hire staff
- Produce reports
- Prepare research papers, educational texts or articles
- Perform administrative tasks
- Conduct interviews
- Conduct literature reviews
- Compile and analyze statistical information provided by private and public health care institutions and organizations
- Monitor and compile research results
**Supervision**:

- 3-4 people
