**Duties**:
The Professional Development and Training department, Cowichan campus will be offering QuickBooks Online courses using our online learning management system D2L. We are seeking an instructor to be on an availability list for Fall 2023 to June 2024 for some or all of the courses listed below.

Develop a two-part course based on the QBO program by Intuit. Develop the lessons, quizzes an final project or exam. Create video demonstrations. Instruct course(s); prepare course materials; provide individual and group instruction; provide student support; design and implement student evaluation, grading and record keeping; participate as an active member of the instructional faculty. Course delivery will be online: asynchronous or blended.

Potential course offerings:

- CMQM 030 QuickBooks Level 1
- CMQM 040 QuickBooks Level 2

**Required Qualifications**:

- Demonstrated digital competencies and proven experience teaching with remote and online delivery.
- Responsive to diverse cultural and academic backgrounds of adult lifelong learning student populations.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
QuickBooks/QuickBooks Online and Bookkeeping expertise in area sought to teach. Recognized education in Bookkeeping, Financial Accounting, or Payroll Administration (certificate, diploma, degree, Masters) from an appropriately accredited institution. An equivalent combination of formal education and directly related experience may be considered.

Teaching Expertise: Applicants should be prepared to provide and deliver a short sample lesson or teaching demonstration on a relevant topic before the interview. During the presentation, the applicant should expect to be questioned on aspects of the presentation by the members of the interview panel.
