**Description**

INVISTA Canada's Maitland Specialty Intermediate manufacturing site located in Maitland, Ontario is seeking an **Operations Manager**. **What You Will Do In Your Role**:

- Provide leadership to 2 crew supervisors and a Process Technical Team in our PSM (Process Safety Management) high hazard Amines process, Water Treatment, site Lab and Power Utilities, consisting of 2 Cogeneration Units, Hydrogen plant, boilers and compressors.
- Accountability for performance metrics: lagging and leading EHS outcomes, Reliable and Disciplined Operations, and Cost of Manufacturing.
- Ensure the safe, reliable, and environmentally sound operation of the Maitland site.
- Providing transformational leadership to achieve our site Vision and key strategies.
- Develop Shift Runs the Shift ownership and capability by creating an environment for self-actualization.
- Guiding the team to achieve site bets by driving innovation, acting as principled entrepreneurs, while successfully prioritizing and completing site initiatives.
- Creating the environment where digital technologies disrupt the way traditional manufacturing is done to create superior long-term value for the organization.**The Experience You Will Bring**:
**Requirements**:

- Previous experience leading and managing in a complex work environment
- Post Secondary education in science, engineering, business or technical field

**What Will Put You Ahead**:

- 5 or more years managing in a cross functional teams in a manufacturing environment
- Experience communicating complex concepts with the confidence of senior leadership
- Experience in understanding and analyzing complex data sets to make recommendations or highlight opportunities for efficiency
- Experience working in a PSM facility
- Experience leading internal self-assessments in preparation for 3rd party audits
