**About Us**:
Caledon Meals on Wheels is dedicated to providing nutritious meals to seniors and individuals with disabilities in our community. We are seeking a dedicated Meals Admin Support individual to join our team and support our mission in ensuring healthy meal delivery while maintaining a clean and safe environment.

**Position Overview**:
The Meals Admin Support assist in the Meals on Wheels program to ensure our services are implemented in a timely and efficient manner, while ensuring outstanding client service and a quality program.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Preparation, maintenance and troubleshooting the volunteer meal driver schedule.
- Follow up with safety checks for clients not at home to receive meals.
- Deliver meals when volunteer drivers are absent.
- Complete client intakes, and forward meal orders and changes as needed to the Meals Coordinator.
- Provide support to volunteers as needed over the phone and on-site and forward emerging issues or concerns to the Supervisor.
- Assist with the implementation of the volunteer meetings/ activities.
- Enter client and volunteer intake forms and service data/ statistics into database.
- Act as a backup to the Meals on Wheels Coordinator when away
- Participate in and support CMOW events, outreach, and fundraising activities as required.

**Preferred Qualifications & Experience**:

- Eligible under the Canada Summer Jobs 2024 program.
- Post-secondary school diploma/ degree and/or related work experience
- Working knowledge of MSOffice and data base management
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding of seniors’ issues
- Knowledge of Caledon, Orangeville and surrounding areas
- Recent Criminal and Vulnerable Sector Check
- Must have a reliable vehicle available to them at all times and willing to travel throughout Caledon, Orangeville and Surrounding Areas
- Must be able to work Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 3:00 pm

**How to Apply**:
**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 9 weeks

Pay: $17.56 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
