Richmond, Canada Trinity Language Centre (TLC) Full time

This position is designed to assist teaching and learning, and the general administrative support at TLC. The Program Assistant is required to travel between TLC Richmond and Langley locations. Major job responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Maintaining the Student System;
- Taking care of student files and record;
- Hosting in-class assignment tutoring sessions on daily basis;
- Student service, including new student enrolment, placement, and related issues;
- Organizing student activities and events; and
- General administrative work.

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of BA in Social Sciences and Humanities (preferably in Education) from a provincially acknowledged institution in Canada, TESL/TESOL certificate an asset;
- Experience in an administrative role;
- Experience working with international students;
- Experience working with /serving people in a multilingual setting;
- Experience maintaining a website; and
- A Mandarin-Chinese speaker.

- Greatly detail-oriented;
- Enthusiastic, outgoing, and sociable, in personality;
- A team player;
- Excellent oral, interpersonal, and communicative skills in English and Mandarin Chinese;
- Being flexible in schedule to accommodate potential evening classes;
- Being flexible in travelling between TLC Richmond and Langley locations;
- Ability to work effectively with instructors, students, and different departments in the university setting;
- Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.; and
- Experience in ESL teaching in Canada and/or in China in classroom setting an asset.

**Salary**: From $21.00 per hour
