Freight Broker

Responsibilities:

- Develop relationships with clients to cater to their transport needs.
- Grow your current book of business with new clients, and service them with the help of our team.
- Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and customers to secure freight shipments
- Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers to ensure competitive pricing
- Coordinate the movement of freight from origin to destination, ensuring timely delivery
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in freight brokerage or related field
- Strong knowledge of logistics, supply chain, and transportation industry
- Proven track record in account management and sales management
- Experience with inside sales and cold calling to generate new business leads
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable rates with carriers
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

**Skills**:

- Account management skills to build and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Sales management abilities to identify opportunities, generate leads, and close deals
- Knowledge of 3PL (third-party logistics) operations and best practices
