The Program will consist of staff travelling through areas using maps (provided) with driving routes to look for evidence of non-compliant lawn watering. When evidence of an infraction is found, field staff will take photographs, record data and leave printed information in the mailbox or at the door for the residents of that address.

Information and data will be shared between Metro Vancouver and the member jurisdiction responsible, allowing for potential follow up by local enforcement and the collection of data related to program success metrics. On any given day, six to eight team members will work in pairs in three or four different vehicles to visit different geographic zones of the region, such as: 1) North and West Van, 2) Richmond 3) Coquitlam and Port Moody, 4) Burnaby, 5) Surrey, Delta, Langley Township.
